Whitby Myth and Folklore: Phantom Coach



There are also tales of a ghostly phantom coach complete with horses and driver that has been said to thunder up to and stop outside the door of St Mary's church which stand in the shadows of the Abbey's ruins on the East side atop of the 199 steps.
