Nestling in a quiet country setting eight miles from Whitby and just 1 mile from Runswick Bay, the popular and highly rated Ellerby Country Inn is ideally situated to place you within easy access of some of the country's most spectacular coastline.
The Ellerby is a lovely, relaxing and quiet place to stay. It is our aim that all of our guests leave feeling refreshed, well-fed and rested and wanting to return. It has an excellent reputation for food and drink, using fresh local produce where possible. We have a 55 seater restaurant which is very busy although all residents are guaranteed a table.
The 10 country inn bedrooms are individually furnished and all have en-suite facilities. We have three superior bedrooms and also a disabled access superior room. Three of the standard bedrooms are dog friendly. (Please note, dogs are allowed in dog friendly rooms, the resident lounge and in the garden. They are not permitted in the public bar and restaurant - thank you.)
