Touch Whitby - Whitby Online

Touch Whitby - Photography Exhibition

Whitby is not just the macroscopic. The buildings and landscapes of Whitby are truely captivating, but they do not tell the whole story. As a child coming to Whitby it was not the "views" I was interested in, more the things I could get my hands on and "feel" - and that's still true today. With this selection of photographs I hope I've captured at least some of those sensations, to some extent. I hope that as you look at these pictures of Whitby's surfaces you get a real sense of what it would be like to touch them.
