Whitby Barnacles

Do you remember the sharp, warm feel of a barnacle encrusted rock in the summer? And the sound of the barnacles closing as they sense you approaching. Using a macro lens and tripod I hope I've captured just a little bit of that Whitby barnacle magic in these pictures.
