Saint Hilda's House
Saint Hilda's House, our family home, is a special boutique bed and breakfast located on the historic Saint Hilda's Terrace.
Overlooking the beautiful Pannett Park, Art Gallery and Museum, and being only a short stroll away from the town centre, we are in an enviable location for all the delights Whitby has to offer.
Saint Hilda's House a Georgian Grade 2* listed property was built in the 1770's by the well known Marwood family of shipbuilders. The house retains an abundance of original features after we lovingly restored it to it's former glory.
Breakfast is served downstairs in the atmospheric old servants kitchen, enjoy your meal beside the original Colliers of Whitby cast iron range, and experience the nostalgia of a bygone era.
Adjoining the servants kitchen, the former Butlers pantry is a peaceful lounge / reading room for the exclusive use of our guests.
The ensuite bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished with personal family pieces. They are equipped with everything required to ensure your stay with us is happy and memorable.
We look forward to welcoming you to our informal 'home from home' for a pleasant and relaxing break away.
Saint Hilda's House has 3 guest bedrooms.
