Hope Whitby Missional Communities (Baptist Church)

A Network of families on mission

Hope Whitby is a Missional Community. So, is that different from a 'Church' you ask!!? Well, we don't have a building of our own (we don't want the burden of bricks), we don't meet together on a Sunday morning (although there are some good churches that do) We try to meet people where they are. Whether that be in a cafe, a pub, a house, community centres or a church building.

We are trying to give everyone a chance to experience the Christian Faith in a way that they can understand. When you look around at what we do, you'll realise that we have lots of different things going on. We like to make people have a sense of belonging, that why a number of our groups are in houses. We think its important to have a social area, where people can come and relax and enjoy an evening with friends like the Hope Hub . And when you are ready, we have a once a month contemporary service called #Gathering.
