The unique natural beauty of Whitby, it's majestic cliffs which plunge dramatically into the tempestuous North Sea, it's nest of surrounding rolling hills that merge into windswept moorlands and its rugged and sandy beaches which welcome the winding River Esk to the mouth of the harbour combine with the often quaint and eclectic cobbled streets, fisherman's cottages and Georgian storeyed house to create a atmosphere that cant fail to inspire the creative mind.
