The 10th anniversary Whitby Goth Weekend!

The Whitby Gothic Weekend (WGW) is Britain's most popular and longest running gothic festival.



The first WGW was on the 2nd Sept 1994, and ran once yearly until '97 when it went twice yearly.



To date there have been a total of 13 events (this April will be the 14th).



The WGW is organised by Jo Hampshire of Top Mum Promotions.



The venue for the WGW within Whitby is the Spa Pavilion on the town's West Cliff, with the occasional use of a 'spill-over' venue (usually The Metropole Hotel) when demand is particularly high.
