The Farndale Show reaches it's centenary in 2006. The show is a traditional local agricultural, horticultural and industrial show held on the showfield at Church Houses in beautiful Farndale on the North York Moors. gates open 10.00am Bank Holiday Monday 28th August 2006 Entrance Fee just £3.00 for adults. £1.00 for children. U5's free. Cars on showfield £3.00 Free parking nearby.

The farndale show is a truly traditional local show. For the centenary show there will be a few special attractions such as a display of photographs and memorabilia, A parade of clydesdale horses, sheep dog exhibition and parade of vintage tractors. Regular events include: Horses, Ponies, sheep, cattle, goatsHorticultural section, produce section, sticks, craft section, photographs, art section, terrier racing, hound trail, gymkana,quits, sheep dog trial, and many more.




Entries for childrens races, fancy dress and dogs are taken on showfield.




Also this year there will be an evening music event (see seperate entry) and a flower festival in the church see seperate entry.




We will also be launching the first ever farndale calendar which is being sold in aid of the village hall rebuilding fund.
