THE COTTAGE

The cottage was built in around 1850 and is constructed of stone. It has an enclosed front garden, which is being re-designed and re-planted early 2010 to become a pretty cottage garden. There is bistro-style table and chairs to enjoy an early morning cup of tea (or late evening G & T!)

There is a spacious lounge, which has original beams and a small stone fireplace. There is central heating throughout, with an electric stove effect fire in the living room, with a comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a dining area.

The kitchen has a further eating area with table and chairs, and has a dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and freezer, which leads on to a shared rear yard and access to the private parking space (which accommodates up to 2 cars).

Upstairs, the cottage has two pretty bedrooms, one double and one twin. The twin room has delightful views over the fields and moors. All beds will be fully made up ready for your arrival. We provide hand towels ONLY.

A hospitality tray is provided, at no extra charge, so you can have a cup of tea after your journey and begin to relax immediately.

We also offer a Christmas package with decorated tree at no extra cost (please enquire). Off peak short breaks are available – please enquire.
