Stunning photo's. I very nealy came up to Whitby with the other half between xmas and new year but work commitments prevented. Wish id got to see the snow covering myself now having looked at these photo's.

Hi There, I am not familiar with panaramio ??
Panoramio is the website that adds images to Google Earth. Just type Panoramio into your search engine and you'll find it. Registration is free. You upload your image, then map it. Give it about a month, then they add it for the world to see!
Here is my account, you can brouse through if you like. But I must say, my images are not a patch on yours.

Wow, That is beautiful!
Now I miss Whitby and the rest of the UK even more.

But you ain't got as much snow as we do. It's been snowing every other day since 18th of December, so we've got more than 50 cm of snow in the garden.
And my car won't start because it's so cold, it was -23 last night. Brrrr.

Great photos. Admittedly, most people I know are crabbing away about the cold and the ice, but it's been great weather for walking. We've been out to Sleights, Grosmont, Egton and the Hole of Horcum. Not bad for stepping out to the pub either!
