No 4 Third visit

Post by Wisparolo » Mon Nov 30, 2009 8:48 am

Just paid our 3rd visit to No 4 on the Parade at West Cliff. Whitby has many fine restaurants but for a combination of good food, friendly service & value for money I don't believe there is better. You are made to feel special at No4 & nothing is too much trouble.

We have friends staying after Christmas & one of our friends is a Coeliac & when I enquired if she could be catered for, no only is that ok but the chef is going to bake some gluten free bread.

Thats great customer service. If you haven't been I recommend you try No 4. You wont be disappointed

Wet n' wild?
Two nights in a row I've been out to sort things blowing everywhere. I honestly thought the windows were going to blow in!
Never known anything like it

We will have to give it a go. It sounds fantastic. Probably sometime whilst I'm off over Christmas.

We called for the first time to Number 4 yesterday and I have to say that our evening was as good as anywhere that we have been to in Whitby, (and we have been to them all!)

We shall be going again and I would recommend it to anyone.

It is at the knife and fork symbol just above the A174 on the middle left hand side of this Google Earth capture. If you walk along West Cliff heading out of Whitby and follow the bend in the road( instead of walking along the headland) you come to a row of shops and it is in these.

Enjoy!

Cheers,

Thank you Dave you're a star, I've checked out the menu on their web site and it looks really good. We'll be there at the end of June and we'll definitely be going
