La Rosa Hotel 0n the site of Barnards

Post by DSA » Sun Jan 02, 2011 4:48 pm

The Yorkshire Post Magazine dated Jan 1st 2011 had an article about La Rosa Hotel. But not under Food, Drink or even Dining in the Ridings, no sign of Frederick Manby who dismembered Trenchers a while back. It was under Homes and there were no pictures of food. Nevertheless it looks fascinating. We drove past and saw a sign for Teas. But we had already had our injection of fish and chips so perhaps another day. Does anyone know anything about what looks a very interesting place?

I have eaten at La Rosa Hotel, and it was very good food with a great atmosphere. It kind of reminded me of a mix between the Golden Nugget Hotel Las Vegas and the Sahara Hotel Las Vegas in terms of atmosphere. Also, the drinks were good and fairly priced. :)
