End of the Line

"WHITBY IN SHORTS" local film-night is back at the Coliseum on Tuesday 11th August, screening Charles Clover's award-winning documentary about the decline of the fishing industry - 'The End of the Line'. The film, rated PG, takes a very critical look at commercial fishing - some say unfairly. Whitby has supported, and been supported by, a fishing industry for hundreds of years. Nobody cares more about the sustainability of fishing than those whose livelihood it is. It is planned to have an 'Open Debate' after the film, and all interested parties are invited to come along and get involved.

'The End of the Line'[PG] starts at 7:30pm - any profits from the £5 admission will go, as usual, to the Whitby Dog Rescue.
