Whitby is "home" in A Place in the Sun - Home or Away on Channel 4 at 8 tonight. Will the househunters make the right choice....

Have just watched it and noted that it was filmed a few years ago, hence the price differences. Thought the places shown in Spain were horrid, although pretty big. Know where I would rather be, despite the weather!

I thought I'd seen it before - though nowhere did it say it was a repeat. And despite the billing, they showed houses in Scarborough, Loftus and Kirbymoorside! What a waste of time.

Yeah, I too was disappointed that it didn't feature Whitby as suggested but you're not going to get anything in Whitby except tiny cottages for the budget they had.

How true. In fact, tiny cottages , especially in the old part of town, are also going to be few and far between - too popular with 2nd-homers or holiday letters.
