"Gothic" Images of Whitby

Post by JohnWS » Tue Feb 13, 2007 8:11 pm

This thread grew out of some discussion over the BBC Dracula thread.

As we know Whitby has strong ties to the story - I thought it would be fun to start a thread showing any sort of "spooky" image you have created or taken of the area. Here's my first effort - no worries about copyright BTW as it's my photo & my original line art (based on Nosferatu) combined/jiggered.

Oo, very good!

I have some nice ones of St Mary's graveyard and the Abbey, not spooky as such but I love the warmth of the sandstone and the scarring of the gravestones by the winds.

I like that one. Especially with the gravestone close up & the abbey in the distance.
