The Rajah Convict Ship

Post by selderfield » Wed Mar 28, 2012 10:51 pm

I was wondering if anyone would know of someone who has a photo of a sailing ship, fully rigged, similar in appearance to the Rajah convict ship that was built in Whitby in 1835. I understand that it was barque-rigged, class A, Division 1, 352 ton. I only need a general appearance, as I want to use the photo make a silhoette for a challenge quilt, featuring Australian-themed folk songs.

One of the songs I have chosen is 'The Rajah Quilt' by Cathy Miller, and I want to accurately portray the vessel in silhoette, if possible.

Thank you,
