Victorian Gothic

Post by stinknugget » Sat Oct 31, 2009 9:31 pm

Just got back from the Victorian Gothic night at the Abbey. And I have to say, it was fantastic!
The lighting, the re-enactors and the whole atmosphere went into creating a most memorable night.
I look forward to the next event.

I'm suprised you were not there, Kizzy. It would have been right up your street!

I've been busy with work and such. I've not got a lot of money either.

There are always those worse off. So really, I'm counting my blessings. No point being upset about that which I can not change.

Which is damn good. On the wireless today, one of the main news articles is that school leavers to 25 year olds are at an all time low with unemployment. So, yeah. Atleast you are working.
We were knocked down from a five day week to three days. Better that than people losing jobs!

Work is very boring, but it's work so I shouldn't complain really. I am currently trying to move from menswear to ladieswear because I hate the staff I have to work with now and I'm just stuck on the till everyday. It's pay day today, so I'm very happy :)!!

As you say Kizzie its a job. Pity you dont get on with the current crop of staff. I have been there in the past and I know how difficult it can be. Hope you get a move soon.
I will be in Whitby next month. Whee! :D
