^ Oh, that's a hard one. In three hours I'd probably have time to see both the Holiday and I'll be there.

> I've got a washing machine on in the basement. Watching Will&Grace and checking up on the forum.

v Which is your favourite Whitby b&b?

^ I love Fridays. Everyone at school is in a happy mood and I look forward to trying to get all my school work completed on Friday evenings (with the help of a glass of wine.. or two!!!), so that I have the weekend ahead of me.

> About to make a shopping list, as I am going to have a bit of a retail therapy shop in Scarborough.

v If you could capture the essence of Whitby in one snapshot, which view would it be?

^ A shot of the harbour :). It's such an original harbour and you can instantly tell it is Whitby. Plus it's where Dracula entered England in the novel :).

> Posting on here and watching television.

v Are you looking forward to the summer and why/why not?

^ Absolutely! I'm getting my bachelor's degree in journalism in the beginning of June. Then I'm going to Manchester and to Whitby (!) later in the month. My uncle is having his 50th birtday party in July, so I'll get to meet a lot of old family friends. And I'm going to be working at our local paper for four months. I't going to be an amazing summer. 8)

> Just finishing for the day at the paper. I'll be going to my other job, at the local shop and restaurant, next. But first a quick drive home to check the mail and change clothes.

v It was the international day of press freedom last Monday. How do you get your news and what kind of articles do you like the most?

^ I'm not that interested in the news. I mostly hear about things on the television or on the radio.

^ That's hard, as I have never stayed in one; we used to rent cottages before we came to live here, but I am going to go for La Rosa as I am sure that I would love the view cross the harbour, the decor and the Mad Hatter's tea!

^ Hard one.... I sort of watch lots as my husband puts the TV on a lot, but I am usually reading or marking school books, but there's little I really really like. I guess it's something like 'Location, Location, Location' or 'Three in a bed' for sheer entertainment value or wildlife programmes.

> Having a very large mug of decaff coffee.

v Hot day in Whitby - which ice cream flavour would you go for?

^ My daughter and her husband are staying. We have just enjoyed coq au vin with homemade bread followed by lemon cheesecake with homemade marscapone ice cream. They are now lying on the settees recovering!

> Just finishing a bottle of wine - hic!
