Ode to Whitby

Post by Annmarie » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:41 pm

Hi everyone,
I have been coming to Whitby since childhood and it never
Loses it's charm. I arrived last Saturday with my family and
must go home this coming Saturday, but I love the place so much
That I've been inspired to write a very serious poem about it,
it goes like this:

Seagull on the 199th step, do you dream of Johnny Depp?
Or on West Cliff, on Captain Cooks head,
Do you pooh, like the tour guide said?
I've seen you do it. It is abit mean.
For now his head is turning green.

Love you Whitby x
From Annmarie Hunt.
