Re: Whitby marathon

if you read the posts you'll see there isn't a marathon in Whitby nor has their been one. There used to be a half marathon run by the Lions but that finished years ago.

Last time I heard of Lop Anderson was he'd moved to Scarborough. But that was many, many years ago.

Re: 6&7Feb 6 Nations rugby- best pub(s) to watch matches

I believe the Granby at the top of Skinner st has a TV - its probably going to be quiet too. There's also the Elsinore opposite the Little Angel on Flowergate. But its a small pub and popular with locals and visitors

Have I redeemed myself yet Olly?

Re: 6&7Feb 6 Nations rugby- best pub(s) to watch matches

I do apologise Olly.

As you can guess I don't visit any of the pubs in Whitby when they've got the TV on.

However the pub in Station square where the buses are has live everything in it. And its pretty large.

Re: Whitby Abbey

I do not think you can do this at the Abbey

The civil wedding office can supply a list of locations/premises etc., where you can hold civil ceremonies etc.,

Re: christmas in whitby

There are not many B&Bs overlooking the sea.

Your best bet is addresses on North Promenade, North Trce or East Terrace, of which The Royal Hotel is the most prominent.

Have a zoom in on Google maps!
